What is The Bebep Legacy?


The Bebep Legacy is digital comic book series project I decided to start about a month ago. While I'm no longer playing World of Warcraft and therefore unable to continue the story in the usual format of a PvP/Machinima video, my interest in expanding the Bebep universe remains.


One of the things I disliked about the PvP/Storyline format is the necessity to rush events and skip more detailed expositions in order to maintain the dynamic style. Comic book gives much more space for descriptions and metaphors, so expect that.


It's no secret that I was taking huge inspiration from film noire, in particular the Max Payne videogame franchise, so visually it will be much more Max Payne-ish compared to your average comic book.


As for the story itself, it will not be taking place after Bebep 2: Revelations. I figured that presenting a presumably epic finale in such way could turn out a letdown for some of you, so instead we'll be talking an adventure to the period when Bebep has just suffered the transformation (a prequel to Fire'n'Destruction 2). Apart from meeting Kenwood and some other characters, I'll be sheding some light on Bebep's roots; in other words, I'll try to keep it interesting.


I understand the concept might seem slightly questionable, or even heavily questionable. In the end I decided to give it a try. If the first book turns out a complete failure, it will be the last one. If you'll like it, I'll release the next one in 2-4 weeks. So it's up to you.

Awesome. We're all confident you'll put enough work into this so it'll be great ;p

An unexpected move, that is. It's all about unleash creativity I suppose, and WoW's universe is a good start. But do not limit yourself on Bebep stuff, just because it's been so succesfull, or because you feel it's incomplete...I hope to see you releasing some non wow related stuff in the near future, something crazy and different, don't know just my 2 cents.

Anyway, keep up the good work!!

P.S. As for the concept, I find it a very appropriate way to expand your story

This is a great idea! It means you have a more detailed story to relate, and I'm looking forward to it because when creative people do what they like, it's always been awesome!

I have a question, on your pics, you signed:

But it's YOUR story, why would you add "us" as "authors"?
