Staff vs Main Hand off hand-

I know this link is out there somewhere but I can't for the life of me find it!

If someone can tell me the pro's /con's to Staff vs a dagger/offhand ? ( including enchants please :D ! )

BTW I play a fire mage. and occasionally frost ( if that makes a difference, i am spell pen capped too )

7.1. Staff or Dagger + Off-hand?
Lets compare tier2 staff and tier2 1h+oh:
Staff gives 5 more Intellect, 8 more Stamina, 4 more resilience rating, 4 more crit. rating, 1 more spell damage. But if you go for 1h+oh, then you will be able to get an additional +100 intellect enchant on your off-hand. Plus, t2 staff looks exactly like season8 one, while t2 dagger got a quite nice new model.
