Feral IS op? kk
K you all think that Feral is OP.
But would you take him the ability to shift out of
CoC,Nova or other snares?
If i read it right this will be done next patch
-->R.I.P Druids
what do you think and am I right with this intel?

Feral is OP in a way, but you're right - nerfting it that way is beyond idiocracy.

Indeed. Never in my life have I QQed about druids being able to get out of roots. Its a gameplay mechanic and its unique to the class. Its like QQin about mages being able to blink out of stuns. There are so many other ways they could have nerfed it rather then just remove it from the game.

Re: Feral IS op? kk
yhea I am the same opinion. Even if I dont think that Ferals are OP with the damage he can deal, THIS is just stupid. Well Druids will die to Arena I guess cause they just get CC'd like no one else.... Druids cant dispel Root/Nova/CoC like priests can do or palas with their Freedom crap skill (dunno the correct name) mages can blink like mitz already said i think every class has something against Snares because it is necessary otherwhise you wont deal ANY damage cause u just get kited. and 2 leaps/charges are too less to get to the enemy due to their 50 spells to snare....
Well good thing about is that I dont play Cataclysm because I dont like it(never thought there will be something what is more crappy than WotLK but yhea....)
Well we'll see how it changes
In addition to this Ferals wont be able to get out of Fear with Berserk (Friend of mine told me and I guess he read it correctly if not just tell me)
Then there is NOTHING what Druids can get out of except polymorph...
GG blizz

Ferals can still get out of snares by shifting, it only affects roots (Frost Nova, Improved Cone of Cold). I think it's always been slightly annoying but nothing more but since feral damage went up it was impossible to stay alive while all you did to slow him just gets removed in GCD.
I do agree that Blizzard could've been more subtle with the change though.

Re: Feral IS op? kk
Actually, with every healer out there being able to dispel I don't think it's going to really change anything. Maybe ferals won't be the only melee class being able to tunnel it's target 24/7, but then feral damage was never *that* high.

Re: Feral IS op? kk
well yhea the arguement for this nerf is that blizzard doesnt watches 1v1 so they think u will always have a dispeller with u.... crap

Blizzard doesn't care about 1v1, and it's official.
But do you think the patch will change anything in 1v1? Or mage / feral duel seem fair to you as it is now? :)

Blizzard also said that they don't want you to feel overwhelmed and powerless but instead have at least a chance to fight back.. I guess they're referring to lolzergsimmunitysmokebomblulzzzz.

Re: Feral IS op? kk

This is me sometimes, when smoke bomb/hemo + feral bleeds on me,cycnles my partner and gets his HP back to full in a blink of an eye with skills of magic and joy and happiness.
Just saying
But imo. They aren't THAT hard to kite with a mage.Especially when you run around, scorching their furry little arses.
The nerf is slightly too much, but i wont lie,i laughed my ass off when i heard they removed the shapeshifting out of roots thing.

Last time I checked, feral druids can apply slow. Which can not be dispelled, unlike mage snares.

Dunno.I can't say i had any problems fighting them in arenas(unless they have a rogue partner.I want to hit the wall with my head when i see that combo)...Now duels are a whole different story, but hey.
And it's still better to have some movement going, rather, than just sitting there and getting shredded to pieces...Even tho it only buys you a few seconds or so.

Re: Feral IS op? kk
nah its the same thing they did to Retri Paladins when they took off the talent that says : "When you use HoF you brake off any stunning effects ... " its like removing blink from mages .. as Bebep said before .... as you see blizzard class teams are not smart enough to nerf damage instead of basics in a class ...

I don't know if I understood all the conversation, but I think that Blizzard is going to put a talent in restro tree. And with this talent, healer druids can shapeshift on roots, like every druids did before...
